The Guardians of Danville
Tristate Unification Purchase
The Tristate Unification Purchase was the name given to the purchase of the land and territories of Danville by Kurt Doofenshmirtz from the Recievers responsible for disposal of the previous owner’s estate. It is called the “Tristate Unification Purchase” due to the fact that the area included in the territories claimed by three different US states. In order to register the area formally administered, Kurt had to convince all three administrations to formally recognize the new town, and to convince two out of the three to cede control of the small areas in the border areas to the third, to consolidate the land together. Thankfully, as the areas were largely uninhabited, the only difficulties arose over mineral rights in the ceded territory, as the neighboring states were worried that the Inator Corporation were attempting to exploit minerals left behind by the mining. Fortunately negotiations were fruitful, and the secession went ahead without a hitch.
